The 2014 Chianti Classico Riserva from Castello di Volpaia is a red Sangiovese produced in the Chianti Classico appellation. The vines are located at an altitude of over 400 meters, planted on a terroir composed of decaying sandstone. The soil is light, and rich in limestone.

At the tasting, Chianti Classico Riserva 2014 from Castello di Volpaia presents a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Its elegance is continued in the flavourful bouquet, developing intense spice and fruit aromas. A well-structured wine with round tannins and a beautiful finish.
