Description
Jacquesson releases a fine and distinguished champagne
The estate
Located in Dizy in the heart of the Marne Valley, the Jacquesson Champagne House, founded in 1798, was taken over by the Chiquet family in 1974. Brothers Jean-Hervé and Laurent Chiquet, passionate for wine, produce exceptional cuvées expressing the unique character and richness of these very large terroirs of 28 hectares of chalk, thanks to their plot-based approach and their winemaking and ageing philosophy.
With its numerous vintages renowned for their finesse, their airy purity and their exceptional ageing potential, Jacquesson is among the elite of the great names in Champagne.
The vineyard
Jacquesson's Aÿ Vauzelle Terme 2013 is a Blanc de Noirs champagne. With a surface area of 30 ares, the vineyard, composed exclusively of Pinot Noir, dates from 1980. The terroir is made up of predominantly chalky alluvium on blocks of Campanian chalk.
Blend
Aÿ Vauzelle Terme 2013 from Jacquesson is 100% Pinot Noir.
