Description
A red wine from Piedmont with a seductive finesse and aromatic expression
The estate
The Rocche dei Manzoni estate was founded in 1974 by Valentino Migliorini and his wife. Comprising a surface area of 50 hectares, the vineyard is managed according to the precepts of biodynamic viticulture in order to enhance the identity and nuances of the multiple terroirs of Piedmont.
The vineyard
Rocche dei Manzoni's Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano 2015 is a Barolo wine made from vineyards located near the chapel of Sante Stefano in the commune of Monforte d'Alba.
Vinification and ageing
Fermentation for 20 to 25 days followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The initial ageing period lasting 36 to 48 months in oak barrels is completed by an additional 12 months of ageing following bottling.
