Nose
The bouquet proves remarkably complex, bringing together three families of aromas. It opens on lively notes of honeysuckle and candied lemon, accompanied by nuances of hazelnut and fresh almond. After a few moments, aromas of pastries, honey and roasted notes emerge, evoking cappuccino and roasted coffee. Spicy touches round out this energetic and charming nose.

The attack on the palate stands out for its freshness and vivacity. The palate unfolds flavours of ripe fruits, dried apricot and candied citrus, enhanced by hazelnut notes. The long and harmonious finish reveals a refined minerality that lends the wine smooth nuances and vitality.
Food and wine pairings
This exceptional champagne pairs beautifully with delicate fish, refined seafood, fine poultry and fine cheeses. It also elevates special moments as an aperitif.
Serving and cellaring
The Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Itération N°27 is ideally enjoyed at a temperature between 10°C and 12°C to fully reveal its aromatic complexity.
An exceptional champagne born of the Champagne art of blending
The estate
Founded in 1812, the Champagne Laurent-Perrier House entered its golden age from 1948 onwards, thanks to the dynamism of Bernard de Nonancourt. Under the impetus of this visionary businessman, the house distinguished itself by crafting cuvées that reflected its values of excellence and innovation.
Since its origins, the house has built its identity around chardonnay. Through the freshness and finesse it brings to the blend, this grape variety defines the style of this Champagne benchmark.
The Laurent-Perrier House expresses its avant-garde spirit notably through Grand Siècle and its multi-vintage blends, its Ultra Brut in the "zero dosage" style, and Cuvée Rosé, the first maceration rosé champagne in this category. These so-called "breakthrough" cuvées, each new creation an event in itself, mark with their originality a new chapter in the history of the Laurent-Perrier House and its quest for excellence that has earned its international renown.
The values dear to Bernard de Nonancourt find their quintessence in the Laurent-Perrier cuvées, unanimously recognised by connoisseurs.
The vineyard
The Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Itération N°27 draws its exceptional character from eight carefully selected Grands Crus of Champagne. The chardonnays come from the prestigious terroirs of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant, while the pinots noirs are sourced from Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzy. This rigorous selection from among the finest Champagne terroirs ensures the excellence of this outstanding wine.
This iteration is built on the art of blending three complementary vintages. The 2015 vintage, which accounts for 65% of the blend, experienced an extreme climate with a mild winter followed by a hot and stormy summer, producing chardonnays with yellow fruit aromas and opulent pinots noirs. The 2013 vintage, at 25%, marked by a cold spring and late harvests, contributes fresh and balanced chardonnays as well as delicate pinots noirs. Finally, the 2012 vintage, representing 10% of the blend, went through episodes of frost and spring rains before a fine summer, offering elegant chardonnays and pinots noirs with red fruit aromas. This champagne has a dosage of 8 g/l, granting it a perfect balance between richness and freshness.
Vinification and ageing
The Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Itération N°27 benefits from an extended ageing of ten years on lees in 75 cl bottles, allowing the champagne to develop its exceptional aromatic complexity and depth. This patient maturation reveals the full richness of the blend and gives the wine its unique character.
