Description
An aromatic Bandol rosé wine with a beautiful structure
The estate
The family estate of La Bastide Blanche is poised in an idyllic setting on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Sainte-Anne-de-Castellet. Since 1972, this estate has been producing fine wines in the Bandol appellation.
Dedicated to nature and protecting it, the domain of La Bastide Blanche produces organic wines. The vineyard covers an area of 50 hectares, where the typical soils of the appellation (red clay, clay-limestone and gravelly soils) contribute to the signature style of these wines, which are recognised for their high quality and their great ageing potential.
The vineyard
The 2021 Bandol Rosé wine by La Bastide Blanche stems from a vineyard where the vines are 28 years old on average and are planted on clay-limestone soils and gravelly areas.

The intense robe is a beautiful salmon colour.
Nose
The complex nose blends floral and spicy fragrances (Sichuan pepper) with citrus notes (citron) and dried apricot.
Palate
The ample and structured palate is seduced by this wine’s notes of pomelo, peony and pepper.
