The producer

Dedicated to artisan winemaking that respects both the terroir and the environment, Famille Perrin has become, over the years, an essential reference among fine Rhône Valley wines.

A pioneer in the innovative organic farming approach since 1950 followed by biodynamic practices in 1974, Famille Perrin produces fine wines, recognised beyond the French borders, for their quality and sophistication.

The wine

Cuvée Réserve 2018 by Famille Perrin is the pure and authentic expression of red wines from the Côtes-du-Rhône. This wine comes from vineyards located in Prébois (with soils composed of pebbles, gravel, clay and limestone) and Vinsobres, with terraces made of quartz and marly limestone.

The vinification and ageing

Following the harvest, the grapes are sorted and destemmed. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by pumping over in order to encourage an optimal extraction. Devatting and malolactic fermentation are carried out before transferring the juice to wooden and stainless steel vats for a one-year ageing period.

The blend

Cuvée Réserve 2018 by Famille Perrin comprises a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
