The cuvée
Cristal 2006 is a vintage of the champagne house
Roederer, it surprises and seduces by its complex range of aromas. This
champagne has a glistening robe with a slightly amber reflection and a muffled and regular effervescence which allows to foresee a beautiful ripeness. On the nose, the Cristal Roederer vintage of 2006 is intense and rich. One can detect notes of candied fruits (orange, lemon), white flowers (lily) and nuts slightly grilled (hazelnut, almond). On the mouth, the wine is broad and complex and has an incredible condensed texture. It oscillates between a fruity depth and a pure freshness : a delicious, delicate and light balance. One can feel the ripeness and the softness that lean on the freshness and minerality. The feeling of harmony dominates thanks to its very accurate aromas that blend perfectly.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2006 Cristal shows rich and ripe (tropical) fruit on the nose along with delicate brioche notes. Round and textured on the palate, this is a generous but fresh, fine and salty Cristal with a very long and greatly finessed finish. Tasted in New York, November 2018.
