The estate
The Louis Max House, founded in 1859, oversees some twenty hectares spread over prestigious appellations and is an essential name among Burgundy wines.
The Geneva businessman Stanko Subotić, an enthusiast for the Burgundy terroir, acquired the estate and surrounded himself with eminent experts such as Jean-François Joliette and David Duband to produce great wines expressing with authenticity and excellence all the potential of these exceptional terroirs.
Louis Max is one of the largest estates cultivating in organic agriculture and certified by Ecocert. These Burgundy vineyards are managed with total respect for nature and with a minimum of human intervention, resulting in wines that are recognised by the greatest international critics.
