Description
The precision of a fine Chablis 1er cru wine
The estate
Truly in tune with the times, Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard is one of the most important and influential producers of organic wines in Burgundy today. Thus, he has always endeavoured to apply ecological principles, to restrict human intervention and to reveal all the authenticity of the Chablis climats. These practices result in structured, pure and mineral wines.
The vineyard
A benchmark among fine Chablis wines, Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard reigns over a vineyard of more than 140 hectares, of which 40 hectares are cultivated using biodynamic practices and 66 using organic practices.
The wine
This Chablis 1er cru "Vau de Vey" 2011 wine comes from east-facing vineyards that are poised on the steep slopes of the left bank of the Serein river.
The blend
Chardonnay (100%).
