Description
The balance and aromatic richness of a white wine from Provence revealed by Domaines OTT
The estate
The young Alsatian agricultural engineer, Marcel Ott, moved to Provence in 1896 with the ambition for this vineyard to produce great wines despite being ravaged by phylloxera. Today, the OTT family is perpetuating this know-how to produce a range of rosé, red and white Provence wines from three estates: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Created by René Ott in 1903, the iconic and immediately recognisable Domaines Ott bottle showcases the quality of great Provence wines. Domaine Ott joined the Louis Roederer house in 2004.
Vinification and ageing
Domaines Ott's 2020 white BY OTT Côtes de Provence wine is made from a rigorous selection of grapes, which are then received in Château de Selle’s new cellar before being sent to the winery, exclusively reserved for the production of this By Ott wine.
The blend
Sémillon (66%)
Rolle (34%).
