The cuvée Dom Ruinart Rosé 2002 comes from a clement and dry vintage which lead to a perfectly riped crop. This 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir blend, from the prestigious Champagne House Ruinart possesses a deep coral colour with delicate copper-coloured glints. The cuvée Dom Ruinart Rosé 2002 surprises by its aromatic intensity and complexity. Fruity notes, such as exotic and citrus fruits, are very present on the nose. These are enhanced by floral and brioche notes, as well as a gamy note reminding one of musk. The taste of this champagne is rich and broad with a beautiful aromatic palette. The finish is pure and expresses the nobility of the grands crus composing this cuvée.

    Wine Advocate-Parker :
Disgorged in June 2014 with 5.5 grams per liter dosage, the 2002 Dom Ruinart Rosé includes 20% red Pinot Noir from Sillery and Verzenay. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of brioche, mirabelle plum, dried orange rind and fresh pastry, it's full-bodied, broad and gourmand, with a creamy mousse, delicate phenolic grip and excellent balance. This is one of the finest renditions of this cuvée that I've tasted.
