On tasting, the Cuvée 38 of Maison Henriot has a pale yellow colour with light golden reflections. The bubbles are fine and extremely regular. The nose has a rich bouquet with delicate fragrances of fresh butter, white flowers, minerals and cream with a discreet touch of liquorice. The palate gives an incredibly rare taste, the wine showing richness thanks to its elegance. It also reveals harmonious flavours with the clever marriage between citrus fruits and ripe apricot.
A generic commentary on the tasting of the wine when it is released, it may vary over time. This rather general comment therefore highlights the usual style of the wine and can sometimes be slightly erroneous.
