The aromatic delicacy and vivacity of an exceptional Brut champagne in a collector's edition
The estate
Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, a visionary wine merchant, Moët & Chandon quickly distinguished itself at the royal courts of Europe. His grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, helped spread the renown of this Champagne House internationally, making it an emblem of excellence and innovation in the art of Champagne.
Jean-Rémy Moët is also credited with the creation of the legendary Moët Imperial, crafted in tribute to Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. A regular visitor to the estate, the Emperor is said to have introduced, together with his troops, the tradition of sabering bottles of Moët & Chandon to celebrate the brilliance of his victories.
Since joining the LVMH group in 1987, the House of Moët & Chandon has steadily continued to create remarkable cuvées, reflecting exceptional expertise and a constant pursuit of excellence.
Moët Impérial Brut: a legendary cuvée
Since 1869, Moët Impérial Brut champagne has been the purest expression of the Moët & Chandon identity. Born from the blend of more than 200 crus carefully selected across Champagne, this iconic cuvée brilliantly illustrates the fusion of tradition, elegance and modernity. Acclaimed for its expressive fruitiness, flavourful palate and gracefully mature character, this Brut champagne has stood the test of time, appealing to newcomers and great connoisseurs alike thanks to its aromatic palette and flawless balance. Moët Impérial Brut is a true ode to the diversity of Champagne's grape varieties and terroirs, revealing the full magnificence of this prestigious region.
The limited edition
For the festive season, Moët & Chandon unveils its new collection, enhanced by a new visual element inspired by its iconic black bow. This limited edition stands out with an exclusive gift box featuring the new Moët & Chandon bow motif, subtly embossed.
Vinification and ageing
This Moët Impérial Brut champagne incorporates between 20 and 30% reserve wines, carefully selected to enrich its complexity and ensure its consistency. The three reference grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay) are blended with great precision to create a subtle harmony between density, suppleness and delicacy. This rigorous approach to vinification, combined with perfectly mastered ageing, gives Brut Impérial its unique character and remarkable taste identity.
Blend
This Brut champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir (30 to 40%), Pinot Meunier (30 to 40%) and Chardonnay (20 to 30%).
