2013 Sauternes from Bordeaux

Clos des Lunes vineyard is located in Sauternes; one of the best white wine sub regions of France. Old Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc vines grow on the magnificent hilly vineyard. The 2013 Lune d'Argent blend features higher proportions of Semillon (70%).

The wine displays a gorgeous bright golden hue with lovely shades. The nose is quite intense and exudes candied citrus, passion fruit, with delicate lemongrass adding freshness. This vibrant and full offering boasts superbly balance between rich flavours and sharp freshness. The palate also reveals delicate white and exotic fruits along with pleasant maturity and great balance. The finish carries coated citrus peel flavours.
