Château Cheval Blanc
Located on the most beautiful terroir of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Appellation, the Château Cheval Blanc is considered as a real star. First Classified Growth in the 'A' category, this estate offers beautiful and extremely distinguished wines, thanks to its outstanding quality standards. These wines have proved a tremendous success with wine lovers as well as great connoisseurs, who laudatory praise their qualities. Orchestrated with passion and judgement, the merlot and cabernet franc grape varieties (the latter being also locally called the 'Bouchet') match into a perfect tactile partition embracing smoothness, deep flavour and delicate scents. For Pierre Lurton, managing director of Cheval Blanc, this wide yet so silky wine is like 'real cashmere on the palate'. A wine specifically defined by an unmistakable freshness ruled over by magnificent cabernets francs, here the biggest proportion in the blending. Cheval Blanc and Le Petit Cheval, its second wine, express a pure ad lib pleasure, with generosity and vivacity.
