Description
The Romanee-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru "Les Quatre Journaux" from Maison Louis Latour is a single variety red wine from Pinot Noir grapes of the Romanée-Saint-Vivant appellation. The vines benefit from an average 30-years-old and a subsoil of ferrous (iron-based) clay. The vines cover 0.8 hectares.
The Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru "Les Quatre Journaux" 2015 has a sublime ruby colour with garnet highlights. It has a powerful nose that reveals cassis, blackberry and forest floor aromas. On the palate, there is a round mouthfeel with toasted hazelnuts and licorice flavours. Its exceptional ageing potential makes it possible to keep it until 2035-2045.
