A fruity white Clarte from Haut-Brion 2016

The fresh nights and hot days allowed the Clarence Haut-Brion to develop intense white aromas. This dry and hot vintage is a blend of 23.7% Sauvignon Blanc and 76.3% Semillon. The grapes were harvested on September 1st-13th.

The white Clarte from Haut-Brion 2016 has a brilliant pale yellow colour and green tears. Its aromatic complexity is enticing with its fragrances of white flowers. The attack is smooth before revealing its fruity length in the mouth. Clarte de Haut-Brion, is dominated by its remarkable Semillon and is a delight to drink.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Composed of 76.3% Sémillon and 23.7% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2016 La Clarté de Haut-Brion features very pretty honeysuckle, yuzu, lemon drops and fresh pears scents with hints of kumquat and lime leaves. Medium-bodied with fantastic freshness, the palate features a great intensity of citrus flavors and a long chalky finish.
