Domaine Henri Bourgeois' 2013 En Travertin is an expression of the Sauvignon growing on limestone-clay sedimentary rocks in Saint-Andelain.
The gold-tinted, gold-yellow Pouilly-Fume from the Loire Valley reveals intense tomato leaves scents, fruit marmalades (orange or peach), and passion fruit seeds. The palate offers freshness on the attack, with iodized minerals, but also creamy texture. The dense finish also shows iodized minerals as well as luscious caramelized nougat.
