The Elegance and Freshness of a Fine White Vacqueyras
The estate
The story of the Famille Perrin truly began in 1909 with the acquisition of Château de Beaucastel. Today, this iconic estate in the Rhône Valley is run by the family's descendants, who carry on an age-old savoir-faire. A pioneer of organic farming from the 1950s and of biodynamics in 1974, the estate stands out for its absolute respect for the terroir. The family upholds values of balance and elegance, placing its wines among the region's essential benchmarks.
The vineyard
Located south of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyard gives rise to this fine Vacqueyras. The vines thrive on stony terraces made up of clay, sand and gravel. This warm, sun-drenched terroir is farmed using environmentally friendly methods.
Winemaking and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness of the aromas. The wine is then carefully aged to refine its structure before bottling.
Grape varieties
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussanne.
