A balanced red from Bordeaux

Chateau Thieuley Reserve Francis Courselle is a red wine produced in the Bordeaux appellation. This 5 hectare vineyard is planted on a clay and gravel terroir. Wine maturation is a 9-12 month process. One-third is matured in new barrels, and the rest is aged in older barrels. 2016 is a blend of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.

Chateau Thieuley Reserve Frances Courselle 2016 develops aromas of cedar, blackcurrant, roasted notes and floral notes as well. The tannins are flexible and energetic. This wine favours a magnificent balance instead of overconcentration.
