A wine from Jean-Hubert Delon, also owner of Léoville-Las-Cases and Potensac, Château Nénin is a fine Pomerol wine and covers 28 hectares. The blend is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
The Château Nénin 2009 is quite closed and structured in a rather mineral way. The tannins are well-marked and the wine offers raspberry, black cherry and light earthy and floral notes. This wine can be cellared until around 2030.

Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2009 Nenin is medium garnet colored and features notes of menthol, pencil lead and damp soil over a core of warm red and black currants, stewed plums and sautéed herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, restrained and refreshing in the mouth with a pleasantly chewy texture framing the red and black fruits, finishing with an herbal lift.
