According to Chateau La Dominique «The 2014 La Dominique reproduces the ripeness and concentration of the good vintages, along preserving a good freshness and a silky tannic structure". The 2014 La Dominique is made of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc the starring grape varietal of this vintage. The freshness and silky yet lingering tannin structure (conferring frankness to the wine) are the representation of the perfect ripeness of the Cabernet Franc. This is a serious Saint-Emilion.
