The Château Grand Puy Lacoste is a 5th classified growth from Pauillac. The vineyard covers 55 hectares. The blend contains 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, the Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2003 offers a deep and beautiful ruby and purple colour. On the nose, one can detect black fruit aromas like blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine is fruity and balanced. This elegant wine is to be consumed now.
