Chateau Carbonnieux blanc is a Grand Cru from the Pessac-Leognan appellation. The vineyard spreads out over an area of 42 hectares. The wine is aged in barrels, 25% are new, and regular lees stirring. The 2016 grape blend is produced from 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon.
Chateay Carbonnieux blanc 2016 possesses a large and intense aromatic palate, typical of great Sauvignon Blancs in years with a lot of sun, with characteristics from Pessac-Leognan. The subliminal concentration of the grapes give the wine rich and intense aromas. In the mouth, the texture is round and the acidity is refreshing. The volume gives an impression of complexity of fullness with a very persistent finish.
