Description
The Maison Jacquesson Aÿ Vauzelle Terme is a Blanc de Noirs champagne. The vineyard has had a plot of 232 square metres of Pinot Noir planted on an area of 12 hectares since 1980 in Champagne. The terroir is composed mostly of calcareous alluvium on a layer of Campanian chalk.
The Maison Jacquesson Aÿ Vauzelle Terme 2005 has an intense and delicate bouquet on the nose with cherry, limestone and iodine fragrances. On the palate, the wine is pleasant and offers freshness and fruitiness. There is also a chalky texture with white and red fruit flavours, along with touches of lemon juice. This is a mineral champagne that is lively, fine and delicate due to an expressive terroir.
