Tasting

It is a balanced and harmonious vintage, endowed with an aromatic brilliance marked by tonic notes of black fruits, which stands out for its undeniable elegance.
A refined and concentrated Pomerol wine
The estate
A true legend of the Pomerol appellation, the Château La Conseillante is one of the most beautiful references of the right bank, in the Bordeaux region. Entered into the fold of the Nicolas family in 1871, Château La Conseillante has crossed the centuries by shining with its exceptional crus.
The vineyard
A reference among the great Pomerol wines, the prestigious Château La Conseillante watches over a 12-hectare terroir, of which 11 ha are in production in 2023. The vines are planted on grey clay and sandy gravel soils in the heart of the appellation.
Vinification and ageing
The ageing is carried out in French oak barrels (of which 70% are new), traditional barrels (27%) and 3% in amphorae.
Blend
Merlot (88%)
Cabernet Franc (12%).
