The 2014 Clos de L’Echelier from Thierry Germain’s Domaine des Roches Neuves, is a single-grape Chenin. This Saumur is produced from the iconic 300 years old walled vineyard overlooking the Loire river.
The 2014 Clos de L’Echelier boasts a crystal-clear, shiny straw hue. The nose combines concentration, freshness, generosity, power, and freshness complemented by scents of fruits, flowers and plants. This 2014 Saumur offers a forward, strong attack with intense fruits that lead to a long, neat, and rich finish marked by familiar flavours.
