A vibrant ruby hue, enhanced by delicate violet highlights.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet reveals scents of pomegranate and crisp cherry, accompanied by notes of garrigue and a smoky mineral touch characteristic of its terroir.

The palate is both juicy and supple, carried by lovely tension and innate freshness. The tannins are remarkably fine, leading to a precise, vibrant and subtly saline finish.
Food and wine pairings
This cuvée will pair wonderfully with grilled meats infused with herbs, such as rosemary lamb or roast poultry. It will also be an ideal match for Mediterranean dishes such as pasta with basil and tomato, a fine piece of plancha-grilled tuna or a platter of fine charcuterie.

The vibrant expression of a great red wine from Priorat
The estate
Founded in 2001 by Dominik Huber, Eben Sadie and Jaume Sabaté, Terroir al Límit has established itself as an essential reference in Catalonia. Today led by Dominik Huber, this estate of approximately 25 hectares is nestled near the village of Torroja, in the heart of the Priorat region. The property stands out for its artisanal approach and its commitment to conveying the purity of its high-altitude terroirs. Through biodynamic viticulture, the estate produces authentic, refined and digestible wines, inspired by the great Burgundian traditions.
The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come from vines aged between 15 and 30 years, spread across the villages of Torroja, La Morera and Poboleda, within the Priorat appellation. Reaching altitudes ranging from 350 to 600 metres, this vineyard benefits from great geological diversity. The vines flourish on a mosaic of soils composed of schist, clay, granite and alluvium. All the plots are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamics, with rigorous manual care to preserve the natural balance of the plant.
Winemaking and aging
The creation of the Terroir Historic Negre 2023 is based on gentle and minimally interventionist methods. After hand-harvesting, the vinifications are carried out mostly with whole bunches, with a slow fermentation lasting two weeks. To preserve the brightness of the fruit and freshness, the wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks for six months. The wine was bottled in May 2024.
Grape varieties
This Spanish red wine is made from a blend of 75% Grenache Noir and 25% Carignan.
