The estate

Founded in 1996 in Lourmarin, a village in the Provençal Luberon, Tardieu-Laurent has established itself as a benchmark négociant-éleveur in the Rhône Valley. With no vineyards of its own, it works with nearly one hundred partner growers, selected for the age of their vines and the quality of their terroirs. Now run by the Tardieu family, with Michel Tardieu at the helm and his son Bastien in charge of vinification and ageing, Tardieu-Laurent continues a philosophy of élevage inspired by Burgundian methods, applied to the great terroirs of the Rhône.

The vineyard

This white wine comes from the Garrigues sector, located in the southern part of the Vacqueyras appellation. The soils are stony and clay-limestone, covered with the low, typically Mediterranean vegetation, an environment that gives the white grapes an expression that is both floral and saline. True to its philosophy, Tardieu-Laurent favours well-established vines for this cuvée, whose age contributes to the richness and balance of the grapes.

This 2025 Vacqueyras from Tardieu-Laurent is a blend of Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Bourboulenc.
