Similar in many respects to the 2020 vintage, the year 2022 in south-eastern France saw an early growth cycle. A wet spring and rainy month of June preceded a hot and particularly dry summer, with a few storms in mid-August and early September, which brought about excellent grape ripening up to the harvest.
