Tommasi

Founded in 1902, Tommasi Viticoltori has come a long way in just over a century. The story begins with Giacomo Battista Tommasi who acquired a small vineyard at the start of the twentieth century in what is now the Valpolicella Classico appellation in the Veneto region of north-east Italy. The Tommasi family, in its fourth generation, has expanded the vineyards to 195 hectares, and the family has also purchased several properties in different regions in Italy to bring the total vineyard area to 550 hectares. The historic property is famous for its Amarone, the emblematic wine in the Veneto region, which is produced using the passerillage method.
