Based in the Meursault appellation of Burgundy since 1865, Domaine Jacques Prieur owns a unique collection of parcels across the five greatest and most prestigious appellations of the Côte d'Or region: Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne and Montrachet. The estate holds title over 9 Grands Crus and 14 Premiers Crus scattered across the Côte de Nuits up North and the Côte de Beaune further South. The domaine was founded by Jacques Prieur and is nowadays led by the Prieur and Labruyere families, the latter of whom purchased this estate in 1988. Through the efforts of Jean-Pierre and Edouard Labruyere, as well as Martin Prieur, Domaine Jacques Prieur is committed to the vinification and elaboration of wines that reflect the purest Burgundy style, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of a great breed. Following extremely strict requirements, Jacques Prieur produces and vinifies wines that express strong personalities typical of their terroir. The line echoes the great mosaic of parcels to be found in the Côte d'Or. Each of the estate's Premiers Crus and Grands Crus displays to patient noses and palates the essence of Burgundy's transcendant beauty.
