La Fleur VivaltuS 2018

Refined, elegant and complex nose with a mineral touch to the fresh blueberries and hibiscus. Excellent depth here but rather quiet and understated. Palate is fine-grained and juicy, with a medium body and a long, pure finish. Delicious now, but can hold.

The 2018 Vivaltus La Fleur is made with grapes from Ribera del Duero. It was aged for up to 12 months in barrels and amphorae. Balsamic notes, wild herbs and sour cherry open on the nose, framed by dried flowers, thyme and sage. Fine tannins and a fluid, enveloping texture give a compact profile with a delicate chalky touch. An elegant, nuanced wine that reflects the refined side of Ribera del Duero.
