Éléphant Rose 2016 from Famille Perrin: a fresh and balanced rose wine from Luberon

The Eléphant Rose from Famille Perrin is a rosé wine produced in the Luberon appellation. Planted at an average altitude of 300 metres, the vines benefit from a terroir with old alluvial soils with flat and round pebbles, limestone marls, stony and clayey soils. This rosé elaborated by the saignée method is kept in stainless steel tank until bottling in January. The Eléphant Rose 2016 blends Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah.

The Éléphant Rose 2016 by Famille Perrin displays a pale pink colour with pastel highlights. The wine reveals a beautiful aromatic freshness, with fragrances of red fruits, along with floral notes and citrus. The wine reveals a nice balance on the palate, offering touches of delicious fresh fruits and showing a superb aromatic length. The Elephant Rose 2016 is a wine that combines freshness and balance, while also being remarkably fruity.
