Description
A harmonious red wine from Margaux
Château Margaux is a 1er cru classified in 1855, produced in the appellation of Margaux. The 2013 blend was unusual compared to those of other years with the total absence of Merlot. Thus, the blend of this vintage contains 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
Upon tasting, you will note a nice bouquet emanating from the nose, with fragrances of black fruits, red fruits, laurel and cedar. On the palate, the Château Margaux 2013 appears to be medium-bodied, with tannins of great finesse that blend pleasantly with acidity. A harmonious and calm wine with a finish characterised by flavours of black pepper and mint, which persist in the aftertaste. To be consumed before 2028.
