Château La Lagune 2010

Bordeaux - Haut-Medoc - Red - 14.5° Château La Lagune Château La Lagune 2010 1056/10
  • Parker : 94
  • J. Robinson : 15,5
The Château La Lagune 2010 vintage possesses a lovely robe of dark hues. The nose is fine, fruity and ripe while at the same time powerful and noble. The palate is filled with fresh, bright fruit flavors resting on an extremely supply mouth. Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, the fine tannins give the wine a beautiful long finish.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Another great success from proprietress Caroline Frey, the 2010 La Lagune provides an essential drinking experience, with notes of Asian plum sauce, mulberries, kirsch liqueur and black currants. The wine also exhibits a savory, rich smokiness and subtle lead pencil shaving notes. Full-bodied and pure, combining both elegance and power, this is a brilliant, very approachable effort that should hit its stride in 5-7 years and last for at least two decades. Think of it as a hypothetical blend of the 2005 and 2009. Kudos!;2018 - 2038
