The Estate
Founded in the 1930s by Riccardo Ceretto, the eponymous house is a true benchmark in Piedmont. Based in Alba, this illustrious estate built its reputation on showcasing local terroirs. Today, the founding family still owns the estate, with Federico Ceretto at the helm as managing director. The vineyard spans approximately 200 hectares, cultivated organically. The estate's identity is rooted in a constant quest for the pure expression of terroir, skilfully combining the region's winemaking heritage with a modern, sustainable vision.

The Vineyard
This Barolo wine comes from the prestigious additional geographical designation (MGA) Rocche di Castiglione, located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto. The plot, of a confidential size of 0.41 hectares, stands out for its steep slope and south-east exposure, which gives it a cool microclimate. The vines thrive on poor, loose and particularly stony soils, where the bedrock frequently breaks through the surface. This unique terroir shapes the deep identity of the cuvée.
