Nose
The nose displays remarkable complexity, blending indulgent aromas of almond paste and brioche with notes of ripe fruit, honey and subtle toasted touches.
Palate
Ample and powerful, the palate charms with its creamy texture and generous volume. It stretches out at length on a finish marked by fine mineral tension and perfectly balanced salinity.

The richness and precision of a white wine from Chassagne-Montrachet
The estate
Founded in 2003 following the split of the family estate, Domaine Bruno Colin shines at the heart of its appellation, in Burgundy. Today led by Bruno Colin, owner and winegrower, this roughly 8.75-hectare property stands out for its meticulous plot-by-plot approach. Steering away from overly opulent styles, the estate favours wines of great purity, combining tension, energy and minerality. Boasting a true library of climats spread across 22 appellations, the domaine takes pride in conveying the singularity of each terroir with remarkable precision.
The vineyard
This confidential cuvée comes from a tiny 0.03-hectare plot located in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, in the lieu-dit En Journoblot. Planted in 1955 by the winegrower's grandfather, these very old vines thrive just below the prestigious Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet grand cru. They plunge their roots into a deep clay-limestone subsoil, giving the wine natural concentration and exceptional minerality. The vineyard is managed under sustainable farming practices, with particular attention paid to preserving the agronomic balance of the soils.
The vintage
The 2024 year was marked by strong pressure from cryptogamic diseases in the Côte de Beaune. To protect the vineyard, the estate had to step up its interventions with numerous mechanical sprayings throughout the season on grass-covered plots. Despite these demanding climatic and phytosanitary challenges, the growing cycle was able to conclude under good conditions, allowing optimal ripeness to be reached without compromising on concentration.
Winemaking and aging
The crafting of this wine relies on a long and meticulous aging process. The wine first rests on average for 24 months in oak barrels, with a measured proportion of around 20% new wood in order to preserve the mineral identity of the terroir. This aging is then rounded off with a six-month refinement in vat before bottling, allowing the wine to stabilise and harmonise its aromatic complexity.
Grape variety
100% Chardonnay.
