2012 Puligny-Monrachet Premier Cru, Chardonnay, Burgundy.
The 2012 Puligny-Monrachet Premier Cru Hameau de Blagny of Olivier Leflaive gets its name from a hamlet located above Puligny-Montrachet. This wine was produced from a Chardonnay vineyard from a plot located on top of a hill, 300 metres high, which creates favourable conditions for a late and optimum ageing. Chardonnay wines are generally fruity wines. The 2012 Puligny-Monrachet Premier Cru Hameau de Blagny reveals a lovely aromatic complexity dominated by floral and fruity notes. On the palate, the balanced Burgundy wine is both thick and mineral; this wine offers finesse.
