The 2013 Haut Bages Liberal is crisp and bright. The nose of this Pauillac offers notes of plum and red berries. It has a light texture that ageing will continue to flesh out.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2013 Haut Bages Libéral seemed rather anonymous and had a, dare I say, "dour" nose that requires fruit to come from somewhere. The palate is medium-bodied with firm and slightly dry tannin. This Pauillac is missing some weight in the middle but recovers towards its conservative finish. The finish is better than the entry here, so there is some hope it may improve in bottle.
