Maison Hugel

With origins stretching back to the seventeenth century, Maison Hugel has long been an extremely influential presence in Alsace. The Hugel family originally settled in the historically wine-orientated Riquewihr and still has their main premises located there. They currently have vineyards which cover more than twenty-five hectares, exclusively in Riquewihr, almost half of which are Grand Cru. Their range of wines is extensive, with varietals including (but not limited to) Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris.
