Description
The structure and refinement of a Burgundy red wine
The estate
Founded in 1859, the Maison Louis Jadot has established itself as a key reference in Burgundy. The family adventure began with the purchase of a plot from the famous Beaune Premier Cru des Ursules in 1826. With expertise passed down from generation to generation and a trading activity that has earned it an international reputation, Louis Jadot is committed to offering a wide range from regional appellations to Grands Crus. Since September 2022, Thomas Seiter (formerly of Bouchard Père et Fils) has held the presidency, assisted by Thibault Gagey as general manager.
The vineyard
The Chambertin Grand Cru of Louis Jadot comes from a prestigious terroir located in the north of the Côte de Nuits. The vines thrive on gently sloping limestone and clay soils, facing east.
Blend
This 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru from Louis Jadot is 100% Pinot Noir.
