The IGP Alpilles is located in the Provence wine region and is shared by 19 communes in the Bouches-du-Rhône. The vines benefit from a Mediterranean climate and are planted on fairly stony soils of alluvial origin, consisting of limestone and pebbles. The IGP Alpilles produces mainly red wines, but also makes rosés and whites. The reds are harmonious, generously structured and fleshy. The whites and rosés of the IGP Alpilles are rich in aroma, revealing a lot of finesse and suppleness. They are also wonderfully balanced.
