François Villard : Mairlant 2022

Clean and crisp, the 2022 Saint Joseph Mairlant Blanc reveals classic orange blossom, ripe peach, flowers, and spice aromatics. Some mineral notes emerge with time in the glass, and it's medium-bodied, fresh, and focused on the palate, with an elegant, nicely balanced style. It's another terrific white from Villard that's best enjoyed over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2025-2030.
