Échezeaux Grand Cru 2016 from Perdrix : mature and well-rounded tannins
Originating from plots with a total area of 1.14 hectares, the Échezeaux Grand Cru of the Domaine des Perdrix is a red wine produced exclusively from Pinot Noir in the Échezeaux Grand Cru appellation. The vineyard consists of clayey-calcareous soils, predominantly of clay. The wine is aged in Burgundy barrels of 228 litres, for an average of 18 months.
The Échezeaux Grand Cru 2016 of Domaine des Perdrix displays a garnet-red colour. The nose develops aromas of spices (white pepper) and flowers. On the palate, the Échezeaux Grand Cru 2016 of Domaine des Perdrix reveals tannins that are already very mature and well-rounded.
