Produced in the Limoux appellation, Domaine de Braon'Arques is a red wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon. 2012 is a classic vintage, weather conditions were fairly normal: average temperatures and an on-time harvest. Domaine de Baron'Arques 2012 is a blend of 60% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 11% Syrah, 9% Malbec and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged in barrels, 25% are new and 75% have 1-3 wines.
Domaine de Baron'Arques 2012 has a beautiful deep ruby-red colour. A pleasant nose, that reveals aromatic complexity before releasing floral notes (roses, peony), red fruits (raspberries), black fruits (blackberries), candied fruits and empyreumatic notes. The wine is beautifully-balanced and offers flavours of black fruits and toasted notes. This dense, fresh wine has a beautiful tannic-structure. Domaine de Baron'Arques 2012 finish is long and gourmet. There are magnificent coffee and spice flavours.
