David Duband : Charmes-Chambertin Grand cru 2013

2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Pinot Noir, Burgundy

Old Pinot Noir vines of 85 year of age were used to produce the 2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru of Domaine David Duband. The Pinot Noir brings lush flavours and structure. The 2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru exhibits a blue-tinted dark red colour and reveals dark berry and spicy notes. After aeration, liquorice, raspberry and grilled notes appear. On the palate, this Burgundy wine is intense and rich, underlined by rich tannins of noble quality. The toasted finish is very persistent and will fade with time.
