Description
2014 Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois from Bordeaux.
The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot vines grow on a wonderful rounded hilltop made of Garonne gravels on a clayey substrate. The 2014 Chateau Le Boscq is an ample Saint-Estèphe expressing intense and rich black fruits, blended with a cedar fragrance which brings freshness. This Cru Bourgeois attack is bold (good acid support) and evolves on a dense mid-palate - which gives substance to the wine - on a well-built tannic structure with skilfully extracted civilised tannins. This wine has a good ageing potential.
