Wine Advocate-Parker :
The top of the range is the 2013 La Creu Alta, a blend of Cariñena with 30% Syrah and 5% Garnacha from a multitude of vineyards in different villages of Priorat. The wine fermented at 20 degrees Celsius with pigeage and matured in 228-liter oak barrels for 18 months. This is darker and riper, with the concentration and depth of the juice from old vines, with some roasted aromas that are going to need some bottle age to melt into the wine. The palate is powerful, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins and that earthy sensation the Cariñena often provides, coupled with a very good finish, quite long. 2,748 bottles and 120 magnums were filled in June 2015.
