E. Guigal : Brune et Blonde 2007

The 2007 E.Guigal Cote Rotie Brune et Blonde can, most of the time, spend up to three years in small oak barrels. First, it has an acidulous hint of blood orange, followed by a hint of juicy redcurrant, liquorice and red pomegranate; finally, one can smell cedar fragrances. The structure is elegant. One can taste soft aromas of cherry jam, raspberry, bacon grease, herbes de Provence and black olive. This Côte-Rôtie is showy, flamboyant, fleshy.
